Jason "Tito" Sanchez is Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Oban Wealth Management.

Prior to founding Oban, Mr. Sanchez most recently spent five years at UBS Financial Services, Inc., in New Orleans. At UBS, he was the first advisor to open a US$1 million account with CDC/IXIS Advisors. In 2006, just after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the UBS New Orleans office ranked second only to the UBS' Manhattan office in the entire UBS system in terms of revenue. At UBS, Mr. Sanchez managed a book of corporate retirement plans and individual investment accounts for high net worth individuals in the oil and gas business.

He began his career in investment management in 1994 in Hong Kong at Liechtenstein Global Trust's asset management division. At LGT's Hong Kong hub office, Mr. Sanchez provided marketing and investment research support for clients with assets under management in excess of $12 billion. Presentations and written articles written by Mr. Sanchez were featured at the IMF/World Bank Conference in Hong Kong during their 1997 Global Panel. He also worked to establish LGT's "GT Select" Fund-of-Funds product as a vehicle for Hong Kong's Mandatory Provident Fund pensions retirement scheme, and gave regular seminars for LGT's retirement scheme and pension fund clients throughout the Asian region.

Mr. Sanchez earned his MBA in finance and international business from Tulane University's Freeman School of Business in 2003. He received an MA in Chinese History from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), the University of London in 2000, leading to further postgraduate work in Chinese at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also read classical Chinese at the National Taiwan Normal University. Mr. Sanchez earned his undergraduate degree, in classical rhetorical theory, from Tulane University in 1992.

In 2001, just weeks before the September 11th attacks, he completed a project working for the American Numismatic Society and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, assisting in their creation of the "Drachmas, Doubloons, Dollars: The History of Money" exhibition, which may be viewed today at the Federal Reserve building in lower Manhattan at 33 Liberty Street.

When not working in finance, Mr. Sanchez is a familiar sight at athletic events throughout the Gulf South. He has served as an official statistician for the New Orleans Saints since 2001, the New Orleans Pelicans since 2008, and at numerous Sugar Bowl and New Orleans Bowl events since the 1980s. Mr. Sanchez continues to serve as official scorer and statistician for several NCAA Division I teams in the sports of football, men's and women's basketball.
